• 2 bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cocoa
  • 1/3 cup pitted dates
  • 1 tbs shredded coconut


  1. Peel and chop the bananas into rough chunks and freeze overnight.
  2. Once frozen put in a food processor and blend on high for 1-2 mins. Adding in a dash of water or almond milk when needed, to help the bananas break down.
  3. Put mixture into a container and place back in freezer until date component is ready.
  4. Soak dates in 1/2 cup boiling water for 5 minutes. Blend hot water and dates for 2 minutes in a food processor on low until smooth. Add cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla. Blend for 1 minute to combine.
  5. Serve nice cream mixture into seperate bowls, top with sticky date mixture and garnish with shredded coconut.
