Baked oats taste and look like cake, yet they’re full of nutritious grains and fibre. Baked oats are warm and fluffy when cooked, making it a perfect breakfast option for the cooler months. Baked oats can be made as a portion for one or made in a larger dish to share. Below are the portions of an individual serving.


  • 100g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 100g chocolate chips, blueberries or strawberries (depending on your taste preference) plus extra to serve



  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until mixed well.
  • Pour the mixture into a dish, top with your choice of toppings and bake for 20 minutes.
